What’s the big idea behind Full Circle Drumming?

Few things in life bring people together as effortlessly as music does. When your team members drum together, they’ll express their individuality by bringing their own sound to the songs. They’ll feel the power of working together toward a common goal. Finally, they’ll see that they achieved that goal through cooperation, not competition. Those lessons will stay with them and create a stronger, more cohesive team back at the office.

Why should I consider Full Circle Drumming?

It’s mobile. We come to you. (Or you can come to us.)
It’s inclusive. Everybody participates, contributes, learns and enjoys.
It’s easy. No experience necessary.
It breaks down barriers. In Full Circle drumming, it’s imperative that everyone work together to successfully create music. When this is happening, the boundaries of race, religion, age, gender and workplace status fall away.
It teaches the value of interdependence. Team members learn new ways of working together while having a great time.
It comes with all the other reasons you choose Signature Teambuilding. More than 30 years’ experience, proven track record, professional program facilitators, flawless execution, affordability and fantastic results when they’re back on the job.

How does Full Circle Drumming work?
First, it’s important to know that no prior drumming experience is necessary: A professional facilitator will begin the session by teaching basic skills. As the team begins playing, the facilitator leads them in developing their playing skills – and their communication skills – even further. One key objective is to quickly build the group’s skill level to the point that it can play complex polyrhythms, in which a number of independent rhythms are played simultaneously.

How do learnings from the program benefit the group back at the office?
By the end of the program, every team member feels a sense of exhilaration from having used cooperation rather than competition to create something real, together. They’ve also heightened their interpersonal skills and learned how to really listen to one other. The goodwill they’ve felt toward one another combined with these improved skills translate very effectively back to the workplace.

Can Full Circle Drumming be customized to deliver specific lessons?
Of course. Among other things, the program can be customized to develop team creativity, leadership skills and communication skills. It can also be used in conjunction with other teambuilding activities for an even richer experience.

What types of corporate events can benefit from Full Circle Drumming?
In addition to teambuilding events, corporations use Full Circle Drumming for everything from celebrations to dinners to icebreakers. Drumming can also be combined with other activities and events offered by Signature Teambuilding.

What other types of groups and events is Full Circle Drumming great for?
School classes and assemblies, university events, family nights, teambuilding for teachers, special events and more. It’s also ideal for churches, scouts and other community groups.

How many people can participate?
As few as 10 or as many as several hundred.

How much time should I plan for a program?
Sessions can be as short as 15-minute icebreakers or as long as a few hours. A session 45 minutes to an hour long is ideal for most programs.

Do you provide the drums?
Yes, we can provide drums for up to several hundred people. We can also add other percussion instruments for extra large groups to create a more dynamic sound.

How much does a Full Circle Drumming program cost?
The cost is between $20-$40 per person, depending on the length of the program and the number of people. The minimum charge for any program is $1,000.
